I am looking for a children's book written anywhere from the 70's to the 90's. It is about a girl who moves with her family to live in a new town in an RV. She discovers a forest clearing behind her home is filled with wonderful plants and forest creatures. The girl spends a lot of time in the forest (after school I presume) and grows to love the new town she is in. The title is something like 'The Green Circle' or 'The Grass Circle' or 'The Green Forest'. It features a young blonde girl in a forest clearing on the cover.
