Jill Rod wrote: "Thanks everyone - important books.

Jill I'm glad you mentioned R.C.'s Chosen By God book. (I must go find that.) :D"

Did you ever get a chance to find and read RC?

message 55: by Britney (new)

Britney Hawkins | 5 comments 1. The Bible
2. Crazy Love
3. Boogs and Bean (I know it seems arrogant and self-serving to put my own book on the list. No, it cannot compare with the other books everyone is listing. But the question was which christian books we couldn't have survived without. For me, this book was a test of obedience and a journey of learning. I wouldn't be where I am as a Christian if I hadn't walked down the path that led to this book.)

message 56: by Evangelist (new)

Evangelist Jordan (chosenwithcare) | 55 comments WOW! Ok, "Changing the Seen and Shaping the Unseen" love that book; 365 Days of Healing is one. I have read this book for ten years now. And, I still get something out of it. The third one is The Prayer of Jabez. There is more!

message 57: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Mitchell | 2 comments Jon Courson's bible commentaries. (all 3 volumes) TOTALLY changed my bible studies.

message 58: by Rod (new)

Rod Horncastle Jill question:
"Did you ever get a chance to find and read RC?"

Haven't come across it yet. I have read a few other R.C. books --- and I have listened to his podcast everyday for the last 5 years. (I'm more of a John MacArthur fan.) But gladly they are great friends.

The Pursuit of God in the Company of Friends by Richard Lamb
Being Church: Reflections on How to Live as the People of God by John Alexander

3. Arena by Karen Hancock

message 61: by Susie (new)

Susie Michaels | 3 comments 1. Spirit Filled Life Study Bible
2. Destined to Reign, by Joseph Prince
3. Watering Harvest The Treasure He Is, by Susie Michaels (I am the author, yet remain in awe of the wisdom our LORD taught me about 'Watering Harvest').

message 62: by Danyelle (new)

Danyelle Read (danyellewolferead) | 11 comments There are many good Christian books which have helped me immeasurably, but the ones I could not live without, without which I would be lost and unrooted in my faith, are:

1. The Bible
2. Destined to Reign, the Devotional by Joseph Prince
