The girl is a punk/rocker... When she moves in with her passive father, she takes a shower and sings and he hears and says its good but she doesn't care. At new school she meets a boy named Theo Dore (yes, not Theodore). At one point he shaves her head giving her a Mohawk, and then they kiss in the bathroom and her father awkwardly walks in on them. He then talks to her about contraception. That's the only scene I remember from the book??? :S
