It seems like everyone skipped this section. It's a pretty good one so far so I can only assume it's because everyone raced to the end without stopping.

It looks like whatever is going on with Locke's overeating might be explained. I'm nervous the story is about to take a bad turn just as I'm starting to enjoy it a little.

Still finding the flashback story far more interesting. Things look bad for the crew with a pair of scissors in their benefactor's chest.

Should easily finish tomorrow.

I'm not sure how I feel about this "Locke is some body swapping powerful magi with amnesia" thing. My initial reaction is a very negative one though.

Hanne (hanne2) so David got it nearly spot-on, he's not a mage-child literally, though something close to it. i'm not sure that's the entire story though - there must be something more to it.

the explanation of what they do with red-heads was enormously disturbing. i understand why she covers her hair up all the time, and for the first time ever i have some respect for the thiefmaker, he did something good here.
