Combining Author profile with conventional user profile

I hope I am in the right area for this inquiry! I am trying to connect my conventional user profile to my Author profile (G.H.Ward)The system keeps directing me to my book as a regular reader. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Gordon, you'll need to request to claim your profile. Such requests usually take a day or two to process, but once your request is approved, your two profiles will be combined.
