I'm so close.....three more units left of History but it's all the different empires and I just don't want to torture myself with that.......*SIGH*

Not a fan of history, huh? I've always loved it, so I can't really help ya out there :/
I like History fine. It's much better than Bio where my teacher is an asshole when grading things, but is an adorable old man when not. Everyone makes fun of him and I feel bad......I don't want exams! But I should at least read through everything, right? (Even though my definition of studying is basically just reading through something once)
My bio teacher was a bitch. I have her for anatomy now... still a bitch.Reading through everything is something you can do, yeah, helps refresh your memory :)

Ruled as head and appointed other administrators to rule on his behalf. He taxed merchants on trade routes to make more money. Basically conquered almost all of ancient Mesopotamia.

Eh, maybe they're trying to make us more cultured... but if we aren't gonna remember it, what's the point? Power through it!
There are just so many different empires to remember and I can't compact them all together....ugh. I swear I am going to kill myself before this is over.
I say alphabetize 'em. *shrugs*Only thing I could think of.
I'm never making truffles again. I started at 9 this morning and just finished them at 8 tonight.

On! Just finished writing the essay portion of a Euro test :/How were the exams today, Diana?
They were good, I guess. My English teacher put all these terms and things in the multiple choice section that we hadn't ever even looked at so...I don't know about that. But I felt good about the essay and everything else.
Your teacher sounds like a loser. But it's good that everything else went well!
She's an amazing, fun person but a terrible teacher. I like my deep, philosophical English teachers like mine from last year.
Why can't teachers be amazing and fun, but also know exactly what they're talking about and actually be able to prepare you so you know how to do the stuff on the test?
Yeah...those type of teachers just don't exist.

I'm just so sick of school...I'm just done with it.
Ugh, yeah >.< I've got a ridiculous amount of homework and no desire to do... Luckily my grades are holding on. My calc grade has actually gone up. Instead of a 45%, I now have a 48% percent. So proud of myself -.-
Like out of 100%? Because that would be pretty bad...I have A's in all of my classes except Geometry and Bio where I have a 87 and an 85.
Yes, out of 100% I've been in advanced math since 6th grade, but I hit a wall freshmen year. Unfortunately, I understand how the concepts work, but have no idea how to actually apply them and it's far too late for me to drop the class so I have to stick with it for the rest of the semester. My 4.1 gpa has gone bye bye. Luckily I have A's in the rest of my classes which is helping me stay afloat.
I'll hopefully raise my grades up to A's with the exams and extra credit assignments I've done, but who knows. I hope it goes up because that would be rather disappointing for me, really to not have a 4.0
We don't have extra credit assignments here :/ You're a Freshman, right? It's usually pretty tough for them to get 4.0's. I remember my Freshman year, I was stuck with a 3.98 because I had one A- out of, like 5 A's and and 2 A+'s. But I wish you the best of luck!
I don't know, maybe it works differently where you live. I mean, yeah, the classes are hard, but it wasn't too bad to be able to get a perfect 4.0. I'm sure I could get it if I actually tried. The only reason Geometry and Bio are B's are because I refuse to actually study for them. Now...I have my Geometry exam tomorrow and...ugh. I really don't want to study for it.
It's a lot easier to get a 4.1 when you have weighted AP classes to help you, but that doesn't come until later in high school. I'm guessing you should be able to get a 4.0 as long as you have nothing below an A for grades. Eh, I miss geometry, especially considering what I have to deal with now. I would do anything to go back to proofs, and I hated proofs >.< I've got to critique a concert tonight, read a chapter for AP Euro, finish an essay, and do some Calc -.- but I'll probably be really lazy about it.
I'm in all honors classes so, we get a bit of a slide on our grades. So, it's kind of like a weighted GPA almost, but basically, our grades are added a point or two on just because we are in harder classes that the other students. I hate proofs! Thank god my math teacher is an adorable Indonesian women. She told us that she wouldn't put any proofs on our exams and I am so relieved. I hated proofs so much.
Ugh, seriously? You are so lucky! I absolutely hated it when I was in every advanced class a freshman could take, had a 3.98 gpa and my friend who is ridiculously blonde and not in a single advanced class is like, "Yeah, that's what I got too." It just made me so mad! If I work harder and work better than you, we should not be getting the same grades! I kind of enjoyed geometry because my teacher loved me, but then she went on maternity leave and was replace by a racist, misogynistic old fart who hated me because he had my brother in one of his classes.
I love my Geometry teacher. She's the best. She's really short and she yells at this one boy who I absolutely hate because he's always doing the strangest things in class. And she talks really fast and when I first met her, it was so hard to keep up with her. But she's amazing! Like the only math teacher I've had that actually makes me understand math and look forward to it.
I've had some pretty cool math teachers in the past. None of them could make me look forward to the class, though. I've never liked math really. I've been good at it for a while, but then I just started to dread the class because it was usually boring or ridiculously complicated.
I still hate the subject, but it's not as bad to go there anymore.
I just advise to never take calculus. Ever.
Hah, my brother is taking calculus right now. Sounds pretty complicated to me.
It is! And even when you think you get it... you don't. The only easy thing is derivatives >.<
