As the title of this post suggests, this is a strange fiction novel, involving time travel or teleportation and the messiah.

Apparently the book was mentioned was on Triple RRR, 774, ABC national radio last Friday (4/10/13) in Australia, sometime in the afternoon in a discussion of books that have happy endings.

It may be a debut novel, I'm not 100% sure

Description sounds similar to Behold the Man. Although this book was published in the late '60s, it appears to have been reprinted several times.

Reading the description and reviews of Behold the Man, I don't think it's the one; Jesus doesn't take the man back in time, the man meets Jesus after he goes back in time. Also the ending is arguably not happy (I guess depending on what your perspective might be).

Anyway moving to Abandoned as Emily hasn't responded.
