Bartemeaus and Caroline. I loved that they got together. Since the house was abandoned no rent maybe? And I assumed maybe he'd still work with his dad and make money? I don't know lol. The designer thing was very stereotypical. I think Paul is confused. My true opinion of the story overall, great concept, definitely kept my interest but would've been better had it been written after he gained more experience. But I love the overall message. Forgive, don't allow your past to handicap you instead embrace it and grow from it. Don't allow anyone to tell you who you are. That's awesome! And the originally of the story was worth two stars alone. I didn't love it nonetheless it was still an awesome story that could've been written better with more experience.

By the way, I would love a stand alone story about Eva Mae. She burned the house down, regardless of her reasoning she had other issues that needs tackling and definitely has me very interested in her character and wanting more! Her character had my attention more than the others including Perfect Paul's.

I would too! She would be a great character to follow. I couldn't believe she did that! Don't mess with Eva.

I have put one of Black's other books on my TBR list. The Sacred Place I want to compare it to Gathering of Waters. They have similar themes.
