Jacob (2adhd2read) | 5 comments Ernest Heming way never said, "Write drunk; edit sober." Yet nearly 2000 goodreads members have liked it. It's even a trivia question, which raises the following issue: How can any response to this question be correct if none of the authors listed as possible answers actually made the statement?

Shouldn't we be able to remove or, at least, flag quotes erroneously attributed to authors?

Molly (glitterandtwang) | 1 comments this also drives me crazy. i think being able to flag or remove those quotations would be for the best.

The trivia question now asks "to whom is the quote widely attributed?", so the answer is right. (It does not state that the attribution is correct. In fact, it implies that it is not.)

I edited the quote.
