New Format for Reviews

S.W. and I have decided to streamline the review offerings on GMGR. Our previous folders REVIEWS BY KIDS and REVIEWS BY (NOT) KIDS are still accessible, but archived. Members who have posted in those folders previously will want to repost here.

Guidelines for Authors:
1. Please include the title of your book in the topic box and link both your middle grade book and book cover (using the add book/author feature above the comment box.)
2. Include a synopsis of your story in 40 WORDS OR LESS.
3. Please let us know which formats you are able to deliver for review (i.e. pdf, mobi, epub, paperback, etc).
4. AS A COURTESY TO OTHERS TRYING TO POST THEIR WORK, PLEASE DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE THREAD AT A TIME. (The homepage will only show 15).

Guidelines for Readers:
1. Requests can be made on the threads, but it is recommended that you use the Goodreads private message system to exchange email addresses for ebook delivery.
2. Please recognize that writers are spending time to send you free copies of their books, so only make requests with the serious intent of reading it in a timely manner (3-6 weeks).
3. After you post your review to Goodreads, we'd love for you to come back to this thread and share the link. (Bonus: Post your reviews on Amazon, B&N, blogs, etc.!)
4. If you don't feel comfortable posting negative reviews, consider sending constructive feedback personally to the author via email or the message system.

UPDATE - IMPORTANT

Now that many members use the Goodreads App on their phones and other devices, we find that some extras don't show up.

Please make sure your book title appears in the body of your post (as well as the header) USING THE ADD BOOK/AUTHOR LINK. This is above the comments box when you are posting your ad.

If you are posting using the App, you will either need to add the link manually, or edit your post once you are online with the full internet version of Goodreads.
