Thalia (thaliaanderson) I don't know about anyone else, and while the many tutorials currently circulating have been extremely helpful in customizing, they don't cover everything.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the default sort option on the "shelf" page? I'm trying to change mine from "add date" to "read date", but the codes are exactly the same, and putting the "read date" code above the "add date" code had no effect on which one was selected by default. I'm at a loss. :(

Anybody?

☔️ Stormy Day Reader (rainydayz179) I'm not sure if I'm posting this question in the right place. If not let me know and I'll delete it. I'm trying to figure out how to post reaction gifs on BookLikes. If we could PM I'd just ask someone I've seen do it but I feel goofy adding a comment to ask instead.

gifs have to be posted on a site like photobucket. Once you've done that, get the URL of the image/gif, click on the image button in the post, and paste in the URL.

actually, Booklikes is more like Tumblr in that you can actually upload directly to Booklikes, text, photos, videos, urls, etc.

At the top of the Dashboard you see your own avi, followed by Text Quote Photo Video Url

if you want to do it like Sandra says, you can choose Url.
if you want to simply upload a GIF you choose Photo and Upload.

easy

like one of those silly little figures jumping up and down, or a short film with some text. no sound. just to show your reaction.

Thalia (thaliaanderson) Zafia, thank you! Sorry I never saw your post until now!

Petra, it van be classified as any .gif used to express your feelings. So... almost all .gifs, hahah.

You're right, you can do just a gif. I never do so I forgot about that option. :(

AnnaLund | 33 comments Sandra, that's what's so cool with Booklikes, that you can do it so easily. It is a lot like Tumblr.
