I loved reading your ten things. It was very inspirational to me. I love your positive attitude. Keep it up. I smiled when I read about no plumbing and using the outhouse. Both my grandparents were from the country and when we visited we had to use the outhouse and pump water. Yes, it made me appreciate the tap water when we returned home. :)

I love these lists. We're such incredibly fascinating people. Why aren't we characters in books, lol?
1. I'd leave my BF in a nanosecond if I was given the chance to be in a permanent threesome with Dave Grohl and Gerard Way. 2. My siblings (both males) are 20 and 22 years older than I. I'll be the baby in their eyes FOREVA.
3. The only tennis shoes I own are Chucks. 17 pairs of different colored/patterned Chucks.
4. My absolute favorite food is PIE. I made a blackberry cobbler from scratch last Thanksgiving and consumed the entire thing by myself while threatening to cut bitches if they tried to eat a slice.
5. I'm extremely honest and straightforward. Subtly has never been my forte. If I think your clothing's colors clash (alliteration FTW!), I'm gonna tell you to change because "You're not walking around with me looking like a bag of Skittles."
6. In an extended family full of voluptuous women, I'm the only one who's 4'10 and extremely petite (I'm talking double 0 jeans and X-small t-shirts).
7. I still kiss my parents on the lips at the age of 24 and plan on never stopping, despite coming across people who found it extremely weird (ain't no flowers in my attic, heffa, so kick rocks!).
8. Apparently contrariness is in my blood. Almost everyone on my mom's side (including myself) are of the mind that if you tell us not to do something, we're gonna do it anyway just to prove that we can.
9. I grew up on R&B and Hip-Hop but instantly fell in love with rock music when heard "Otherside" by RHCP on MTV at the age of 12.
10. I never learned how to "black girl" dance. I can pirouette all damn day (from 8 years of ballet) but booty popping escapes me.
ETA: 11. I have chronic migraines and a wicked case of insomnia, the latter of which is why I rarely go to bed before 4 am. The days where I don't have things to do (like work or school) I get a good 8-10 hrs of sleep but the rest of the time, I get by on 4-6.

1) In general my favorite foods are savory & dairy (I love eggs cooked all ways), and don't really have a sweet tooth apart from chocolate.2) I am mixed race (English & Nigerian) from the UK.
3) Am in my 40's with no kids (biggest regret in life as I always wanted them).
4) I LOVE cats (have 2 torties at the moment), have had them since introduced by my ex-hubby in my early 20's.
5) Am only 5'3" but have big hands for my height and have to get extra size bangles to fit over my knuckles!
6) Love hot and warm colors like red, orange and yellow but I have a strong hatred for most shades of pink.
7) I became obsessed with The Walking Dead earlier this year after binge watching the whole series from the pilot through to whatever episode it was in season 7 at that point. I had never watched before due to the Zombie issue and not being good with gore but that's not what I watch it for.
8) My favorite song for most of the 80's was Footloose! (I recorded the movie off TV a few weeks ago am watching it now which reminded me).
9) My first experience of e-books was via Ellora's Cave! I have been hooked ever since, and sorry purists, but I have discarded 99% of my paper books and now mainly buy/read ebooks. I am as attached to my Kobo as I am my phone!
10) I got my nose pierced at 22 in place of a tattoo as I was scared of the pain. First (of 7 so far...) tattoo finally at 39. Wish I had started earlier.

2. I write in my head, way before I sit down and type my story. I tend to know my ending, before I start writing a story.

5. It's nothing for me to skip over love scenes in a book, especially detailed sex scenes. I don't care for detailed sex scenes. Give me behind closed door anyday. I read for good tension. I want to see why the couple fell in love
6. I don't like first person romance books. I don't see why author writes those kind of stories. That's their story and hey, let them keep writing their stories. I just will not read them.
7. I'm not a paranormal fan. I like the characters to be 100% human

9. In my story Trespassing, my hero - Helicopter b.k.a Cop is
bald. In 2010 after seeing a picture of Agent 47 from the movie Hitman on the Dangerous Bad Boy Group and afterwards watching the movie for the very first time - for our writing challenge, I was inspired to write about a dangerous bad boy who was bald. : ) Cop is crazy.
10. I'm not a historical fan, but I do love Julie Garwood historical characters The Clayborne's. Cole Clayborne is my historical baby and his great great grandson Noah Clayborne is my baby from Julie's contempoary books. Like great great grandfather, like great great grandson.

2a. Ideally I'd be a published writer that gets paid for writing but somewhere where I get feedback and commentary on each chapter instead of reading reviews online.
