If someone was crazy enough to turn this into a movie or an HBO series, who would you cast?

The only actor who could ever play Faren in my opinion is Lance Reddick. He's Anna Torv's boss in the FBI on one of my favorite shows, "Fringe". He also distinguished himself on the excellent HBO series "The Wire". Beef him up a bit, and he IS Faren. As for the other main characters, I need to think a bit more on that.
I don't watch much television, but I did look up a quick clip from "Fringe" to find out about Lance Reddick. I agree. If he put on some weight and muscle he has the perfect demeanor for Faren.
He would work! I liked him on OZ, and on Lost...
