I'm going through a bit of a non fiction glut at the moment, so I've recently bought (new, discount bookshop or charity shop):
No one is too small to make a difference by Greta Thunberg
Vegan easy: delicious food in 5 ingredients
River Cottage Handbook No.1: Mushrooms by John Wright
Wally Funk's Race for Space by Sue Nelson
Lady Death: The Memoirs of Stalin's Lady Sniper by Lyudmila Pavlichenko
SPQR by Mary Beard
On This Day in History by Dan Snow
The Witches: Salem, 1692: A History by Stacey Schiff
and one fiction I received for free from a competition:
The Art of Dying by Ambrose Parry
I'm on bread and water for the rest of the month!!

I received my pre-order of Smoke and Stone. I don't think I've ever remembered to pre-order a book before so this is a first for me. :3

The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart
and

The Last Enchantment by Mary Stewart
which means that now I need to track down the other three books in the series...

Even though I have not gotten started reading the story yet, it is already the coolest book I have seen by far - filled with notes in different colours in the margins, as well as postcards, pictures and letters - even a map on a paper napkin - tucked in between the pages. It's brand new, but somehow already smells like an old library book.
It reminds me a lot of my late grandmother, who used to send us letters in the post, written on whatever scraps she had on hand - notepads nicked from the doctor's office, napkins, postcards, scraps of wrapping paper. She also gifted me books with little notes written to me in pencil.
I can't wait to get started on this!
A few books over the last few weeks:
Bombs on Aunt Dainty
A Small Person Far Away
Black Tudors
Passionate Nomad: The Life of Freya Stark
Flying Witch Vol. 8
Day of the Triffids

My husband gifted me 6 of the Dune books for Christmas. (I’ve read the first one but it was a borrowed book.) I’m super excited. :D

A Mark of Kings by Bryce O'Connor

I've been itching to go on a book splurge but instead I just bought one, Blood Heir. $6.99 for a new release was just irresistable.

I just bought used copies of The Last Unicorn and The Six-Gun Tarot as part of my plan to read some Book of the Month backlog. Looking forward to both of these.

Gary, do you watch the TV show? I'm on season 3. I've only read book 1, enjoyed it, but never read on.

I bought The Never-Open Desert Diner from a used bookstore for a part of the challenge. Looks interesting.

I bought William Shakespeare's The Jedi Doth Return and Anne Boleyn: A King's Obsession and a few books from the thrift store, which I can't remember.

I need to buy a hardcover of Jedi to go with the 1st 2 that I own. I want most of those actually.

That's the main reason I got it, to complete the first trilogy.
Then I just overpaid for The Last Graduate.

I'm going to have to eye read, so it will need to wait until I finish my current eye-book though. Fun title, seems like it is in the same world as Cadre Clash.

Does this new book have anything to do with the previous one? Cadre Clash

I have NO money yet I bought special editions of Riyria Revelations and the Poison Study trilogy and Bastille Vs. the Evil Librarians.

I got two from there.

I was finally able to complete my leatherbound Sanderson collection today, I had not been able to get my hands on Warbreaker for a while, but I randomly checked today and it was avaialable! Definitely was not in my budget to purchase...
