Recommendations Not Working

The recommendations feature for two of my bookshelves isn't working. The shelves have been around for quite a while now, but they don't show up on my recommendations page. I have unchecked and rechecked that option under "edit shelves" to be sure, but they still don't show up. (So yes, they are checked yes under "recs".) The shelves I'm talking about are "scarcliff-comps" and "otdc-comps." I would really like to see the recommendations these 2 shelves pull up. Can this be fixed?
