" i think she's hurting it", he said watching her bounce on it.
She landed directly on it causing it to almost dye out as flaminh parts were barely sticking out from under her paws, and looked she over.
"Sloppy, get off!" Gabby picked her up.
Sloppy yipped in protest. Dave walked over. The flame was just a small point on the gem now.
" she killed it....", Dave said trailing off.
She stooped and picked up the ember gem, blowing on it lightly.
The bottom part of her sifted into water and flipped onto the gem and she took it into her body.
The gem floated next to sloppy's eyes and started to glow.
It cracked in half and sloppy spit it out.
Sloppy took a step back and sat down. Then two gems ignited again into a still small beast that now looked more like sloppy, but with big pointy fox ears instead of skinny radar ones. It's two red gems that lead to a smaller than before body that was now a weak yellow flame.
Sloppy looked away, uninterested in the flame beast.
She just ignored her and looked at a butterfly. The flame beast squeaked and freaked out.
" it's a bundle of fire", he said as it still freaked out.
" sparky in a metaphorical sense", Dave asked her looking at sparky.
"Aren't they cute together? Which one's your favorite?"((Bed now, night!))
" i think i like the red one", he sighed.
" yeah well this little guy seems hopefully brighter", he said pointing at him. Soarky looked over and jumped on him.
She jumped, startled, then calmed a little. "Is he burning you?"
" n-no it's not", he said in surprise. The beast had the same contextual outer structure that sloppy uses to stay in a solid yet still liquid body, but it keeps sparky from igniting everything he touches.
"He's adorable! Sloppy, come say hi to Sparky!"
Sloppy was looking the other way, then she angles her head fully back to look, she just kept watching in boredom. Sparky clung to Dave dhivering.
Sloppy didn't move away or towards her.
"Sloppy, you're still mama's favorite."
She glanced at the thing, her tail lashed a bit, but looked back over, perky again.
She scooped Sloppy up into her arms. "That's my girl. Girls rule and boys drool."
She yipped at the happy to e, not really understanding. Sparky was still clinging to Dave.
She snuggled Sloppy. "Much, much cuter."
(( *tone))" can we get this thing off of me, he's hot", dave said.
She reached over and plucked Sparky off, holding both Sloppy and Sparky.
Sparky again freaked out in protest causing sloppy to his.
"It's okay! You're like cousins, anyway. It's okay." she started to sing.
Sloppy got lost in her singing as sparky squeaked in stress.
" i'm not sure it's a puppy", he said looking at it.
