I know right???? I actually bought the book and was reading it! Then I read "Pocket is my name" and even though I already knew that... it just clicked... if this is correct...if it's any help, I guessed codpiece before pocket, seriously searching for garment references and missing a person named for a piece. Like I said $%#@Stockings! - which was actually going to be my next guess before my revelation.

It's definitely Basil Hallward and Oscar Wilde. You just needed the Wilde.
Parinita then had Autocorrect problems with Hallward on her phone which I didn't spot.
I've noticed that if I see something correct once, I don't look at it again. I must watch out for that. Keeps tripping me up. You both got this one! :)
