Kirsten T (kpteasdale) Genre fiction has a lot of well-worn (and well-loved) tropes, which Dying is My Business does a good job at subverting and reinventing (while respecting). How conscious of this are you during your writing process, and what advice would you give to other writers looking to walk this same, fine line?
