I love this anime and I cannot wait to get into this manga.
I wasn't really sure if I was going to like Attack on Titan, but now I can't wait to read volume two. It is pretty intense and I have to know what happens next.
I was put off by it's popularity at first, but now I really love the anime (and can't wait to get my hands on the manga).
I was a tad put off by the popularity, too. Every single person I followed on tumblr seeming to be watching the anime and FREAKING OUT about it. But I gave it a chance and it was really interesting. I still haven't had a chance to read the next volume, though.
I'm annoyed with all the hype it's getting but I still enjoy watching it. Dunno if I'll read the manga though, the art looks kinda sloppy.

I watched the anime and really enjoyed it. It's not the super amazing masterpiece that some have been calling it and it had a lot of flaws, but it is incredibly fun and absorbing. Most episodes had me at the edge of my seat, and when the animation was good, it was really good. I'm actually really happy its super popular. I have a lot of friends who are casually into anime/manga. They only watch an anime every year or two (if that), but almost all of them watched and loved Attack on Titan. It's a great change to be able to freak out about it, reference it, and share cool fanart with all of them.
I don't feel like I'm missing anything by not reading the manga since I'm really happy with how the anime did most everything. My library is getting the first volume, so I'll probably check it out at some point to see what's different.
