I know December is a winter month but I messed up with the months awhile back. So i'm going to include December in this challenge as well as in the winter challenge, so you can choose to do the categories for that month in whichever challenge you'd like or you could split up the December tasks between the two challenges.

2. October is also Cookie Month so read a book with a cookie on the cover
3. October is also National Pizza Month. Read a book with a pizza pie, a pizza slice or a food thatis a well known pizza topping.
4. The second week of October is Fire Prevention week. Read a book where the main character or the M.C.'s love interest is a hunky firefighter
5. October 5th is Do something Nice Day. Read a book with a character who is really nice
6. October 6th is Come and Take It Day. Read a book with a main character who knows what they want and goes and takes it (wink wink)
7. October 9th is Leif Erikson Day. Read a book that takes place in one of the Nordic Countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden or Greenland. Or read a book with a Nordic character or written by a Nordic author. For all choice be sure to tell us which Nordic country it is.
8. October 14th is Columbus day. Read a historical fiction that takes place in the 1490's or early 1500's. Or read a book with a character who moves (voyages) to a different country
9. October 27th is National Tell a Story Day. Read a book that you wouldn't mind telling someone the entire story.
10. October 31 is Halloween. Read a book in the genre of Horror or Paranormal
11. November is National Adoption Awareness Month. Read a book with a character who is adopted
12. November is National Novel Writing Month. Read a book that you wish you were the author of.
13. November is also Real Jewelry Month. Read a book with a piece of jewelry on the cover
14. November 4th is King Tut's day. Read a book set in modern day Egypt or Ancient Egypt. Or read a book with a MC who is a king/Queen
15. November 8th is Cook Something Bold Day. Read a book with a picture of a weird food that you might or might not try on the cover
16. November 18 is Occult Day. Read a book that some how involves the occult, magic or witches.
17. November 20th is Beautiful Day. Read a book with a picture/drawing of a person you think is beautiful on the cover
18. December is Bingo Month. Read a book whose authors first initial can be found in BINGO
19. December 4th is Santa's List Day. Read a book that you would want to put on Santa's list
20. December 13 is Violin Day. Read a book with am main character who is a musician or that involves music somehow
21. December 21 is Humbug Day. Read a book with a character who is grouchy, moody or mean
22. December 21 is also National Flashlight Day. Read a book with some kind of light source on the cover (flashlight, candle, fire, lightbulb, etc)
23. December 24th is National Chocolate Day. Read a book with chocolate on the cover
24. December 27 is Make Cut Out Snowflakes Day. Read a book with a winter scene on the cover.
25. December 31 is Unlucky Day. Read a book with a main character who is unlucky/bad things happen to
