Yes, I read this book to my Daughter Cathryn when she was about 10 years old. She is now 34 years old and still remembers hearing the book. She has children of her own now and has read it to both of them a girl Aryana 10 years old and a boy Christian 6 years old. The reading took several days and we read it at our pool during the summer. We often read books at the poolside to be able to enjoy the time together. We also read all the Harry Potter books by the pool. We are a family of readers. Both Aryana and Christian are reading books above their grade levels.
