Finished The Horse At The Gates. It was a grim but solid thriller about a future Britain and the consequences of the changes on the world scene. Starting Assassination Of A Dignitary by Carolyn Arnold.

Finally picked up a copy of My Sister's Keeper... I've been sucked in and am enjoying the book, but as a sister and a mother am having a really hard time reading it too.
Finished Assasination of a Dignitary. It felt...average. Once you finished it, nothing to really make want to go back and enjoy. Going back to The Clockwork Cathedral by Heather Lockwood.
A Universe From Nothing by Lawrence Krauss; it's very intriguing (the parts that I understand, anyway, with my limited knowledge of relativity, particle physics, and quantum mechanics).
Finished The Secret Files of Ian Fleming: Operation Armada. It was a well-paced solid story. Enjoyed it a lot. Starting Fifth Avenue by Christopher Smith.
Nocturne. I flew through the first half, then Christmas happened, so hopefully I can get back into it.
Been clearing out my Kindle some. Have started Chimera by David Kaine. Seems promising but I'll see how it goes.
Chimera started strong but failed for me. Wasn't able to finish it. Starting The Next Target by Marcel Guiliero. Apologies if I misspelled the last name.
Currently reading Unelmoija, Mindshifter by Elle Boca. I've already read her first book, and loved it.
I am currently reading the Elementals series by Brigid Kemmerer. I'm up to book 1 :)
P.S i love superhero stories
Currently reading/proofing the galley of Mik Murdoch: The Power Within (my superhero novel - 2nd in series). After that, I will probably read Steam by Terry Pratchett.
Heidi I absolutely love that series. I'm hoping to read Macrieve and have just got Dark Skye through I think that's like book 12 and 13, there or there abouts!!

Currently reading Divergent by Veronica Roth, 3/4 of the way through and I'm enjoying it. However I don't know if it's because I've read so many of this genre but even with everything that happens from the very beginning I still found it slow for at least half the book. Also reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
Finished Divergent and also MacRieve by Kresley Cole. Divergent the more I think about it the less I'd enjoyed of it, bit flat. MacRieve was fantastic love that series! Now on to Dark Skye by Kresley Cole

Now on to Dark Skye by Kresl..."On book 9 of the Immortal after Dark series by Kresley Cole. Just realized I missed #8. :( All good though. Will go back and read when done with #9.
Heidi brilliant stuff!!! My only criticism is that the sex scenes in it can get a bit repetitive. I think I might go back to the start and re-introduce myself to some of the characters. I tell you in book #14 you get to see the bigger plot line but no spoilers! Can not wait for #15
Heidi on UK book club (the group on here) there are a lot more people posting on What are you reading now. In case you wanted more people to chat with :)
Finished Dark Skye, all I can say is, it was amazing! On to Dark Possession by Carol Goodman which strangely I can't seem to find on here to log it for my challenge??!!
Dark possession is under the name The Angel Stone by carol goodman and Juliet dark. Really enjoyed it 5 stars. On to City of Lost Souls book 5 by Cassandra Clare. High hopes

As of May this year they reckoned they were making the movie with a different director but not sure when it will be released . I can't wait I loved the first four books but a bit apprehensive about book five as we are going back to the whole Sebastian thing again but I'm sure it will be just as good! How are you getting on with The Immortals After Dark series? Enjoying it still?
Yes. On book 10..I think. They are sort of mixed up in numbering between 7-11. Everything is being set up for whatever is to come in the Ascension. Have you read the Infernal Devices from Cassandra? It happens 150 years in the past on the Mortal Instruments timeline. Loved those too.
No I haven't read them yet but have them for after I've finished the mortal instruments. Have you read the bane chronicles, I think they're shorts or spinoffs?
Finished book 5 now on to City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. Wow book 5 was brilliant, I had so many conflicting feelings throughout. A real page turner and very cleverly written.
Jodie, not all of the bane chronicles yet. Need to read book 6. Just remembered I hadn't even though I have it. Too many to read!
Just finished Wyrd Girl by Jon Jacks. I enjoyed it but had no idea what was going on for the most part, not enough explaining or story building for me. However really unique concept and would read a second one. Now back to City of Heavenly Fire!!
Just finished Blackbirds and just started Fluency.Blackbirds was brilliant, and have high hopes for Fluency.
