It was good but not as good as Legend, then again I usually judge the 2nd book harder than the first for some odd reason.
I actually enjoyed this book better than the first. I liked it because of the increase in action, romance, and overall complexity. June is a bit of robot tho. I like Day much better.

I really like the dual POV tho. You need both sides of the story to make this work. It's the constant comparison of June and Day and how alike they are. It shows how different their lives are even tho they are so similar.
Yea the book wouldn't have been as good if we didn't see both sides of the story. Is it just me or did Tess seem really bratty in this book?
I hope she is better in the next book and I also hope we see more of Day's little brother (I can't remember his name :[ ) in the next one also.
It's like I want June and Day to be together. But I also want Day to be with Tess, and I want June to be with Anden. I can't decide so Marie Lu is going to have to decide for me.
I like them together! When Tess kissed Day I was really hoping that he would just kiss her back! I feel like she has always loved him but she just didn't know what to do about it.
Idk I just think they are better as friends like Harry and Hermione are. (Sorry for the Harry Potter reference but that was all I could think of right now)

I like them together but I HATE how everything gets complicated when best friends date and it turns into something more.

This is a good book, but the first one was way better. I'm reading the third one now. Also better than this book. I honestly think this book is the weak point of the series. One thing that bothered me is that Legend is so much more kiddy than this one, and all the characters seem older and only a few days passed. What the heck? Prodigy is also probably the slowest and least action packed of all the books. I also found myself hating everything that has anything to do with Tess when she was one of my favorite characters. What's wrong with her? Why can't she accept that Day will never think about her that way? June and Day are meant to be! Also Kaede's death shook me to the bone. I sobbed. I was devastated. I wanted to reach through the pages and make her stand up and scream; "psyche! Let's move!" But no, she's dead! And ohmygosh Marie Lu is a genius for having day be dying! I know others might be sad, but I think it ties everything together. Everything makes sense! How did I not see this coming? Split perspective in chapters almost always results in a death. We've all seen it before. I know you have Rachel. Oh yes. If day does die, and Junes all depressed having lost everyone she loved, that might just be sad enough to get emotional reactions from fans, and hey books that make you laugh cry and.... Well not scream in anger but in fright.... Their good books if you have a strong reaction that's not anger! I love that Eden is back. I would like to see more of him and champion is supplying that for me, which is amazing! That's what I thought of this book.PS day and tess=never gonna happen
June+anden= ummmmm what?
