This type of ability has not yet been heard of, and very few have been able to control such substance. There are few techniques to control it. Many believe that this form of Telekinesis is not real. Hemokinesis breaks down into a side branch to Hydrokinesis since blood carries water. Hydrokinesis (The ability to control water) may link to controlling blood. (Search for hydrokinesis for more info). This kinesis is both offensive (Stop an opponents blood) and defensive (Heal a partner or yourself in battle).Yes it is true that Hemokinesis is uncommon but not unheard of. It is true that we do not know a lot about this type of kinesis but there are a few people that have been known for this though this was back in the days of old. Many people now think of this as a urban legend. A lot of people have come to think of this as blood bending well to a certain extent that is true but blood bending can only work on blood that is still in a living body where as hemokinesis you have the ability to control blood inside AND outside the body. This type of kinesis is very dangerous.It is like "Bloodbending" (from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.) By making one tiny mistake, you or someone else may end up dead. The full limits of Salem's healing powers aren't known, but the overall speed and efficiency in which he heals appears to be based upon the severity of the injury. He heals from slashes across his face within a matter of moments. Salem's healing powers also afford him great resistance to drugs and toxins as well as immunity to conventional diseases. *Retractable Bone Claws: (view spoiler)[Salem possesses three retractable claws housed beneath the skin and muscle of his forearms; three on the top of his hands coming out between his Index, Middle, and Ring fingers on each hand and one underneath his wrist on each hand As well as Elbow spikes on each arm. Salem's bone claws have been shown to be black in color with a very smooth sharp, blade like texture. Salem has three claws which emerge from between the skin of his first, second, and third knuckles. These claws are much harder and denser than normal human bone and their natural shape provides them with a razor sharp edge capable of easily slicing through flesh and bone very easily, and able to penetrate metals as durable as diamond. He was a recent test subject of a newer far more indestructible form of Adamantium. Salem's skeleton, including his claws, was bonded with the indestructible metal known as Adamantium, making it unbreakable. *Pheromone Control:(view spoiler)[ Salem possesses another unique ability, the full nature of which is unknown. Salem has demonstrated the ability to manipulate his pheromones for the purpose of suppressing his own scent to such a degree that even a tracker's senses are unable to detect him. He can also use his pheromones to manipulate the emotional state and sensory perceptions of other beings. He has been known to use this power to instill intense fear, happiness, depression, sexual arousal, and a false sense of security to other beings. This allows him to seemingly appear where enemies can't see him, enabling him to inflect damage before an opponent realizes it. Such tactics give opponents the belief that he can either teleport or move at superhuman speeds, though he stated during his fight simulation that he doesn't possess either of those powers. His pheromone powers appear to be physical in nature, not psionic. He can also use this ability against foes as he tells his victims his abilities allow him to distort enemies, hinder their depth perception and visual acuity, causing the hero to fight sluggishly. Salem used this power unconsciously during his youth and formative years, which was a primary reason his adoptive mother didn't love him, though he is attempting to teach himself how to consciously use and control it. * Mind Alteration- ability to alter the minds of others by force of will.
* Mental Amnesia- ability to cause loss of particular memories and amnesia in another person or group of people.
* Mental Detection- can sense the presence of another superhuman mutant within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.

*Pyric Exhalation-fire breathing being able to summon forth fire through his lungs.
*Thermal Resistance- Ability to withstand extreme hot temperatures reaching beyond the temperature of the Earths core.
*Pyrokinesis-Psi/Kinetic ability to create and summon forth and manipulate fire.
*Flame Solidification-Can cause fire to become a solid burning material.
* Pyrokinetic Surfing-ability to create lift using large amounts of heat managing to fly through the air using flames.
*Smoke/Ash Manipulation-ability to control and manipulate Ash and smoke.
*Heat/Infrared Vision-Ability to see using heat vision.
*Geo-thermokinesis-User can create, shape and manipulate molten rock (magma while underground, lava when on surface), a mixture of molten or semi-molten rock, volatiles and solids, it may also contain suspended crystals, dissolved gas and gas bubbles. One can reactivate a Volcano using this ability.
*Fire/Lava Embodiment-Ability to engulf body in Lava or Fire.

He can fly at 150 miles per hour (240 kph) without the help of a tail wind for up to half an hour at a time before tiring to an appreciable degree. Though he generally flies beneath the height of the clouds ([6,500 feet)(1981 meters)he can reach a height of 10,000 feet (3000 meters)with little effort. With severe strain he can attain the highest recorded altitude of a bird in flight (African geese at 29,000 feet (8840 meters) above sea level), but he could only remain that high for several minutes.
