Michelle Holden Don't know whether its your field or not but do you know of any historical fiction based in WWII but from the Italian point of view. I am trying to find an account from an everyday person viewpoint or more in depth political/economic perspective

Hi! Some random searching has produced A Thread of Grace and Kaputt . I haven't read either, I'm afraid. I've read plenty of WWII fiction, but nothing that quite matches your description. Julia Blackburn's Thin Paths: Journeys in and around an Italian Mountain Village tells the Italian side of the story, but as a nonfiction travelogue. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
