I pick this up today from the library so I'll be starting soon. Pretty hyped about it
Finished this late last night. Thought this one was way better than the first. It didn't really get good till almost the middle in Blood Trinity but right away I was hooked from the first few pages. This book was more complex and I had more frustrations but it was all interesting. And me and Cassie's speculations about Tristan knowing more about the Alterants origins. Well I should say the Belador Alterants. And clearly the Medb coven does as well. More specifically Cathbad. Supposedly there are different kind of Alterants called Rias but only the medb know their true name as everyone else thinks all alterants are the same. They can be told apart by their eyes. All of the Belador Alterants have eerie glowing green eyes, the Rias don't. Theres something about Evalle that everyone wants for themselves or to have her locked away. She's special and powerful, although she doesn't realize it yet. She discovered a bit more about herAlterant powers from Tristan. She can tap into them without shifting. Her aura has changed thanks to Storm which is significant.

this series has grown on me. (I have the fourth book waiting to be read). I liked it after I actually pulled myself together and started it. I like that the main characters are all there and only a few new characters get introduced to build up the story. I still try to figure out what Evalle really is.
Yes I like that as well. Although the world building expands, the central characters pretty much stay the same. I'm really liking this series. I'm itching even more to try and figure out what the alterants are especially Evalle since she's a bit more powerful it seems even though she doesn't know much about em

Description
The way Evalle Kincaid sees it, saving mankind from total destruction should have cleared her name.
