Discuss the book here!

Here is a question to start the discussion off:

What is the biggest factor that makes us who we are?
(Name? Appearance? Environment? Self-image? Accomplishments? etc.)

Feel free to extend the discussion beyond the question :)

Eugenia (Genie In A Book) (genie-inabook) | 88 comments I would say that how we see ourselves is the first major factor that reflects on how others perceive us. If we are confident in who we are then this will become apparent to others, and how we wish to be seen. Our own self-image shapes our character, our personalities and drives us to who we wish to be.

@Genie I particularly liked that last bit "drives us to who we wish to be."

And that was the case with our main protagonist. Her self-image - her discovery of who she was - allowed her to make decisions about who she wanted to be, and the kind of life she wished to lead. Self-image is certainly an integral factor :)
