Tolkien fans, book nerds and LOTR fans are going crazy, anticipating the Hobbit sequel, Desolation of Smaug. The AWESOME TRAILER have clips of our favourite elves, Legolas being one of them and of course Gandalf the grey wizard. The LOTR film series has been around for over a decade and now, director Peter Jackson has announced that this would be his last films of the Tolkein world. Ian McKellen will no longer play Gandalf because this last trilogy will be the last few films he will appear in.
This doesn't mean that another director won't attempt to pull more of the Tolkein world into the world of film but let's face it, Peter Jackson will probably the only one and is the only one who has brought the film justice. I take my hat of to Jackson and I'm keen on the upcoming films in the last Tolkein trilogy he will make.
