SOLVED. Trip Around the World Picture Book [s]

The book was probably published sometime in the 2000s. It was a picture book, with a double page spread of each location that included:
-Japan (showing a busy urban area with a karaoke bar, shuttle hotel and people wearing flu masks)
-Iceland (showing a geothermal spa)
-Antartica (showing some people in inflatable boats)
-A tribe in the Amazon (with treehouses)
-A ski resort
-An airport
-A cruise ship

Each page has some information about the location, and at the back there was a checklist of all the items you had to find in each picture like Where's Wally. It was definitely for older children.

There wasn't really a plot, but I seem to remember it was a girl being taken on the round the world trip by her aunt. In the final cruise ship picture, characters from all the previous locations were there.

This has been driving me crazy for years as I remember it so vividly! Any help is appreciated.

Usborne the Great World Search by Kamini Khanduri?
One Goodreads reviewer says it's similar to Where's Waldo. Another reviewer on Amazon says children learn while searching for hidden pictures.
