Hi! I'm Alana and I'm from the UK. I love books and I mostly read fiction. My fave genre is fantasy.

I also write fantasy stories and anime/manga fanfiction (Bleach, Naruto and Beyblade) as a hobby. My other past times include singing (especially in different languages - I post my renditions on the Internet), foreign languages, listening to music, playing the alto saxophone and horse riding.

Of course, I'm a big fan of manga and anime as well. Some of my fave series include Naruto, Fushigi Yugi, Beyblade, Fairy Tail, CCS, FMA, Pokemon, Attack on Titan, Inuyasha, SAO, Noein, Buso Renkin, Digimon, Bleach and Fruits Basket among others. I watch anime subbed because I prefer the Japanese version (I'm also semi-fluent in Japanese thanks to having studied it at university so that helps). There aren't many dubs I like apart from a few exceptions such as the FMA 2003 and the FMAB ones.

I am very particular about the anime and manga I watch or read. The series in question must have a drawing/animation style which is pleasing to the eye and a good story. If it does not have both of these things, I won't even spare it a glance. I've avoided many otherwise awful series this way.

For example, I don't like One Piece. I dislike the style and the story even though I tried reading and watching it. Just because a series is popular and selling well, does not mean it'll be something you'll enjoy. My experience with One Piece is a testament to that.

We must the only two people on the planet who dislike One Piece. Everyone thinks I'm crazy!

Hi, I'm Karina (KC for short) and I've been addicted to manga and anime ever since I was in 3rd Grade (probably longer… I dunno my cousin introduced it to me). I still consider myself a new otaku cuz I don't look at many mangas or anime and I'm open for recommendations! My favorite series is Soul Eater, but I watch OHSHC, Hetalia, and FMA occasionally. I don't know if the Kagerou Project counts (it has a manga and an upcoming anime though..) but if it is, I would add it to the list ^_^ And I draw anime and manga and use my drawings sometimes as a profile picture

Haha no, it's some background I found on this app on my phone (WallpapersHD, Anime category). I'm not crazily advanced yet. I don't know the manga though, but I'll see if I can find it on a computer :)

Hi, Megan! I'm an anime fanatic as well! I watch more anime than any other type of TV show, but I watch a lot of them as well (specifically Supernatural and Doctor Who)! What anime are your favorites? If you tell me maybe I can suggest some you might like! My all time favorites are Hellsing, Excel Saga, and Naruto Shippuden. I'm constantly scoping out new ones on Crunchyroll - I would watch anime all day if I could. I'm an Otaku for sure!!!
