Welcome!

Hi there Misa Misa..Uhhh I mean Laura. I hope you find all sorts of good reads and anime in the future while managing to avoid most of the bad ones. :)

I'm just bad with series, aim to fix that, I am enjoying all of those so far. There are so many others I want to read too! Fruits basket, Soul eater, fairy tail, Tokyo Ghoul, and many others.
I enjoy queer stuff because i'm queer though I also enjoy many genres. Romance, horror, fantasy ...

No worries Tyler. Good stuff you got there (though honestly I never even started Food Wars) and maybe in time you will just get used to reading different series and still retain what is going on (like when I am waiting for the next volume to come out.)
Ever checked out the Higurashi When They Cry: Abducted by Demons Arc, Vol. 1 manga yet? The series is broken up in question arcs (mostly black covers) where you see some cute stuff that ultimately goes horrific then in the next arc things basically reset and new bad things happen and then there is the answer arcs (white covers) that explains one of the previous question arcs and ultimately why there are so many versions of the story. You can get them on Kindle now that the print runs are over it seems.

Hi Leah. Glad to see you have your favorites. I hope you discover more of what you like in time. My Love Story!!, Vol. 1 is one of my favorite romance stories due to how cute the main characters are and how dedicated they are to each other. :)

No I haven't checked it out. I forgot about it but it's on my manga shelf on here already lol. I have so many manga to check out. Problem is I just read so many different things and life and blah blah. I have learned though that I really do enjoy manga so I want to make a habit to read more manga.

Just don't be like me and get obsessed with collecting everything in physical format. You'll end up needing soooo much space for storage. :)

lol. I have collected some in physical format. Dance in the vampire bund, Citrus, Food Wars (I got the entire series I just need to make the time to binge read it lol), and some other manga but I also have started getting some on kindle so that'll help. :)

I like to read just about anything that’s good, if it’s a finished series even better lol. I am currently starting to learn Japanese so I’m phasing out of using eng subtitles in anime and it’s really rough(−_−;)I alsoo need to start limiting the manga I read in Eng, but like I’ll be translating every sentence for a while. If anyone has any manga recommendations that are easy to read in jap I would appreciate \(^-^)/

Best of luck! I would love to do this one day too!

I began reading manga since the pandemic just to pass time but immediately became a fan. I almost enjoy everything well executed regardless of the genre or plot. Unfortunately I found many anime/manga to be sexist and I'm highly sensitive to that. So if you are not indifferent to these stuff don't hesitate to recommend your favorite manga.

my name is gracie, I’m 24 and originally from Bristol, England, currently living in Newport, South Wales ^^ my favourite anime/manga of all time is Ouran high school host club and sailor moon and I enjoy all kinds of genres :3
I’m always open to making friends so feel free to send me a friends request if you want <3

hi julia i just started one piece and i keep on stopping because it just starts to seem boring also when do they do the big time skip?

hi julia i just starte..."
Hey there Norren. Most people tend to be a bit intimidated by the sheer volume of how many episodes are in the series. From a quick search I can see the time skip happens around episodes 516–517. As of now according to Crunchy Roll the anime is up to Episode 1033.

Hi Paul, glad to have you here. Generally people who want to get more into said genres already have their favorites often introduced by a friend or relative. With a diverse variety it would depend on what you are interested in.
Let me know what kind of manga you are looking for and for the time being I will offer a few suggestions based on your book list.
Vinland Saga: A Viking youth joins the crew of the man that killed his father so one day he can have revenge but ultimately must deal with the emptiness of such goals before finding a new path.
Any of the Manga Classic books: Greatly abbreviated versions of classic literature brought to life with Manga
Just about every manga by Naoki Urasawa: The guy is a fantastic story teller doing stories like a cult taking over the Japanese Government (20th century boys), a doctor on the run after the boy he saved ends up framing him for a murder leading the reader to ask just what makes a monster (Monster), and an insurance man with particular skills trouble shoots things he gets involved with (Master Keaton) are a few of his best ones.
Showa: A History of Japan: A guide to the history of Japan in manga form for the Showa time period.

Hello Sydney! Sebastian forever!

I recently finished watching the anime "My roommate is a cat." If you are into super cute that might be a good choice for your to watch list even if it is not too long.
Were you looking for any particular type of manga/graphic novels to get into next? There is an amusing doomsday scenario where people who are touched by infected cats are being turned into cats themselves yet it is so hard not to stop to take pictures or touch their squishy paws. :)

If ya like the animated video, you might enjoy reading the graphic novel. To order (volume one of) THE SWORD OF EDEN graphic novel, stop by my website for more ordering information:
http://www.theswordofeden.com
THE SWORD OF EDEN introduces Rebecca Stern as she begins her career as a superhero. What will happen when our young heroine joins forces with Nemish-Man, Kid-Cockroach, and Professor Jack in retrieving the Sword of Eden (the legendary sword used by angels to keep Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden). In their adventures, our heroes battle demons, zombies, a bunch of ninja, and other supervillains. And how will these superheroes cope when they must combat mythological villains such as Count Orlok or the Green Knight? If that ain’t enough, will our heroes be capable of locating Noah’s Ark?
I am a Christian. I am the comic book self-publisher of THE SWORD OF EDEN graphic novel series. I was a comic book artist for DC Comics and Archie Comic Publications. I, also, worked for Marvel Comics and Warp Graphics. And I have been a designer and animator for Sesame Street, MTV Animation, and Nickelodeon.

Right now I'm reading Soul Eater, Kaiju No 8, Twin Star Exorcists,Blue Exorcist, Dr Stone, Fire Force, Orient & Ragna Crimson.
It's nice to meet you all!
Hi my name is Cynder and I like reading a wide range of manga from slice of life to shounen adventures. Some of my recent favorites are Made in Abyss, Boys Run the Riot, A Man & His Cat, Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, and Monster. Hopefully that gives an idea of the breath of what I like to read. Some of my favorite themes are community coming together; stories that center around Japanese folklore like xxxHolic, Mushishi, and Even If You Slit My Mouth; adventures in to strange worlds; philosophical manga on morality and what it means to be human like Monster and 20th Century Boys.

Hi John. I wish you the best of luck on collecting and/or all the series you love so much. I know sometimes while waiting for he next book in a series I accidentally forget about it until 2 or 3 volumes came out while trying to catch up on other series. :)
