Fairy tail is the best. Naruto is mostly fillers not a keen fan of it.

Anna- I have been considering getting into the Silent Voice stuff recently but haven't had a chance yet. Still it is nice to see it is a fave. :)
Nessy- Nothing wrong with getting your toes wet with new stuff so long as it is safe like anime and manga. One of the fun things about it is there is an incredible amount of genres so depending on what you are looking for you should be able to get some suggestions. :)
Soneika- Nifty. I do the opposite myself though I would like to watch anime more even if I get distracted by other things. Manga on the other hand(and to lesser degree comics) are more mobile and fit into short moments here and there throughout the day. :)
Aida- You have been hanging out with the wrong people Aida. Everyone I have introduced to Fairy Tail is an avid fan so you are in good company. As for yaoi stuff I say good for you. I saw this on a B&N shelf the other day. My Brother's Husband, Volume 1
Trevor- Great choices. :) I am kinda partial on the early dragonball stuff before the series became intergalactic but there are some great moments from Z and newer. :)

Okay, so my first thought while reading this was an old Youtube video called "Don't watch an anime called Boku" and I googled the video to see if you were talking about THAT Boku.

On another note, I've been thinking about reading Fairy Tail, so since you like it so much, I'm definitely going to give it a shot.

Fairy Tail is a great series which is ending at 63 later this year but there are also an assortment of spin offs and they also have the master's editions which are huge and have 5 volumes in each volume. :) Fairy Tail Master's Edition, Vol. 1

Hey Mari, welcome to the group! You don't have a manga shelf so I'm not sure what series you have and haven't tried yet (do you have a MyAnimeList account?) and I'm not sure what would be most to your liking, but nevertheless I propose the following recommendations:

Boku no Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100, Ajin: Demi-Human, Mahoutsukai no Yome, Hunter x Hunter, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, Boku dake ga Inai Machi, Noragami, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gin no Saji, Shokugeki no Soma, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Btooom!, Aldnoah.Zero (I rec the anime), and Gakkougurashi!

Salutations Mari. Southern Komfort is an interesting name though I have never done that Line stuff before myself. My mind automatically went to a nice comfortable non violent variation of Mortal Kombat where everyone hangs out by the pool with drinks in hand. :)

As for new manga did you have a particular style you enjoy or are you more of the try whatever sounds interesting after getting some random suggestions? I just preordered To Your Eternity, Vol. 1 so I can't tell you if it is good but It sounds like an interesting story to me.

Hey there Loveme22 aka Anna. I remember when Anime first began to get more popular stateside (even if that dates me) and I too loved them back then. I am glad they (mostly) do not change series as much as they used to from their original material as well. I am still curious what certain series would be like now with dubs. :)

Favorites are hard for me personally because I have a wide spread of interests but some off the top of my head that I really enjoyed have been Ranma 1/2, Steins;Gate, Fairy Tail. One Piece, Ah! my Goddess, My Love Story, Noragami, and Kamisama Kiss.

I did see the first season subbed back when torrents were popular (before online streaming) but once they got into Shippuden I lost interest. I might try Boruto though.

I find the easiest way is by using the 13 digit ISBN usually found some where near the Universal Product Code (especially useful if your manga share the name of a light novel.) Just type the number into that Search books spot at the top of the page and by time you are done correctly typing the number the book should be popping up for easy clicking unless the book is really rare and hasn't been created here yet. :)

Hi, Natalie! I would recommend reading FullMetal Alchemist, if you haven't already. Noragami is my second favorite manga after FMA, although it's currently in hiatus. And there's a manga that started last year called The Promised Neverland and it's honestly fantastic :)

Hi i'm Maya and when i was young i remember i used to hate reading. It was only thanks to anime/ manga that i started reading and my grades improved (HA! and parents say kids are wasting their time by watching anime). The first anime i watched was Naruto but now i also like Tokyo Ghoul, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, FMAB, Black Butler, Blue Exorcist and the list goes on. Apart from manga i also really like reading books and learning new languages through reading :)

Hi Maya. :) I used to hate reading too when I was younger but Marvel Comics and Choose your own adventure books got me interested. :)

It is cool that you are learning new languages through reading though actual language books would be better than mangas if that is what you mean. Great choices in anime (I watched the whole Ranma 1/2 series this year myself) :)
