2.) Romeo & Juliet, by William Shakespeare
3.) Out of My Mind, by Sharon Draper
4.) Missing May, by Cynthia Rylant
5.) There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom, Louis Sachar
I loved Out of My Mind because it's about a girl who has Cerebral Palsy, which is something that I am interested in. I also loved Romeo and Juliet because it's about bring love to each other, which I really love so much.
I would bring newspaper articles.

2. The Torah: for religious guidance in this dire time,

1. The Alchemist
2. The Pact
3. I Am America
4. Chains
5. Charlotte's Web
I chose "The Alchemist" because it is a great read that clearly illustrates The Heroes Journey. I read it last year in ELA 9 and enjoyed it. I also chose "The Pact." This is a book with a remarkable true story about three young men who turn their life around for the better.
I could not be without these books because all of the characters teach you life lessons, and I think that is a wonderful thing.
One last thing I wouldn't want to be without on the island is food.

2: Romeo & Juliet
3: Alchemist
4: Farenhite 451
5: Pretty Little Liars (that's my favorite)
An additional thing I would take with me is food

List them all (you're welcome to list more than five), then tell us why you chose at least two of them. What makes them so great, and why would you not want to be without them?
Lastly, what's one more thing you wouldn't want to be without on the island (you can say anything except a boat!).
