Alicia | 8 comments The page count for the Large Print edition of The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman, ISBN- 9780062278593, should be 246.
Thank you

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments I checked with WorldCat & it says 250 (so does Amazon UK). How are you counting the pages?

amaldae (staticatku) | 593 comments I'm more willing to believe someone who has read the book herself than WorldCat, as the latter is not always as precise in its information as one could hope. :p

Fixed.

The numbering does stop at 250 but that includes the Acknowledgements and the story ends at 246. If they should be included then 250 is right.

This field is for entering the number of pages of a book. The number of pages in a book is meant to include all content except for advertisements and preview chapters for other books. Included end material may include acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions.

Introductory material paged using roman numerals is not included in the total page count.

WorldCat is usually correct, which is why I checked! And Ellie is correct - page numbering doesn't just include the story.

Have now updated to 250:
