Who was the man Jenna left with in the end, along with the elephant Maura????? I figured it out. I was reading it as the psychic not recognizing him...but it was the mother who did not recognize him. Therefore I'm pretty sure it was Virgil. Thanks to all who answered.

I don't remember specifically. It might have been the detective she was working with. He died in a car accident, I know. I just don't exactly recall the scene to which you're referring.
The scene at the end of the book where Alice sees Jenna. The man is probably Virgil.
