Becky (booklovingcoffeeaddict) | 4889 comments Hey, since the Novellas in the Elemental Series are only available on Kindle, I can't get them from my Library...

Does anyone on here have them that would be willing to lend them to me via kindle? I'm just trying to avoid spending the money if I don't have to and thought I'd ask here first! THANKS!

Elemental (Elemental, #0.5) by Brigid Kemmerer Fearless (Elemental, #1.5) by Brigid Kemmerer Breathless (Elemental, #2.5) by Brigid Kemmerer

:-)

message 255: by Angela (new)

Angela | 17461 comments I think they're at the back of the books. I have 2.5 at the back of book 3, and when I read one, .5 was at the end of that.

Sadly at the back of the print books I've gotten from the library I've only had the first chapter from the next main book, no novellas. :-(

But thanks anyway!!! :-)

message 257: by Angela (new)

Angela | 17461 comments Aw, sorry. :( The ebooks aren't expensive, are they?

My library has 2 of them
you should be able to ask the library to get them....
(I wish I could loan it out after I get it from the library but I can't :( they restrict it)

but when I get ebooks from my library, I almost always download them from Amazon

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Confession: I don't use my library, but I'd like to start. What can anyone recommend to me? I see a lot of you have "books in your name" or are on a wait list, etc. Can you reserve online or what is the best way to reserve books that are coming out? If, for example, a book is due out in Jan. 2014, when would you need to put your name on the list? Is it any different to check out ebooks than paperback? Suggestions?

message 269: by Mehsi (last edited Oct 17, 2013 03:17AM) (new)

Mehsi I would help, but I have no clue. My library is different then yours (and it differs per library (at least here it does)). For example we don't have that reserve a book thing until the book is actually in the library (being ordered or is actually there). The best thing I can recommend is this: You should check your library and ask these things. I am sure they are willing to help. Or maybe they have a website where you can lookup stuff.

message 270: by Mehsi (last edited Oct 17, 2013 02:35AM) (new)

Mehsi Anyway, really happy my boyfriend will once again go to the library this evening, (the only day they are open until 8pm) since I am still not all to healthy and there are books that have come out and are on-hold for me and need to be picked up before it is too late.

message 271: by Jacquelyn, thebrunettebooknerd (new)

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments Vicki. Usually the new releases in my library are listed on the website 2 weeks early. You just press hold or whatever thing your library does. They out you on a waiting list! Also, regular books that are not new releases, you can out them on hold too.

I'm not sure if that is any help but I hope you start using your library soon because they are amazing and so helpful!

My library is flipping awesome! I do EVERYTHING on line with them. Whatever book i need I put on hold, if it's available, they get it off the shelf for me and send me a notice when I can come get it. Then I don't have to go hunt it down. If it's not available then I just get it when it gets returned. I'd go broke without my library! <3
