Yes.
Yes.
thanks for the fast response.eta: duh, I don't know why I even asked because there are fairies in the book anyway.
Ok got another one for you. I didn't read this one. Vicky read The Book Thief and I guess it's narrated by Death. So does it count for Supernatural Creatures? The Book Thief
I would say, yes, Mary: HDLS. I don't think Sonia would differ... but maybe. Let's see what she says.

For Read like a Banshee (event 1), can we count the pages read for a book that is less than 160 pages even though we won't be tagging the book for the challenge??

No. Sorry, Hina. Only those books that qualify for the TTRC.

Thanks!
Hi. One of our teammates signed up for Event 1, but she hasn't posted any pages since the beginning of the event, and she didn't respond to my PM. Can I just remove her from our player list?
Sandy, I'll let Sonia answer this officially, but I believe a member has until the 14th to drop out. How many days has it been? Only five, as of a few minutes ago? Not everyone checks GRs daily, like some of us do. ☺

Death is portrayed as a spirit like creature or entity which fits Sonia's example and has the ability to take souls, so supernatural creature should work
I don't see why not, Sandy, as long as the book itself qualified for the TTRC. However, Sonia has final say-so.
Less than 24 hours till the end of the Read-a-Thon
◈ Important Info: Sunday is a busy day so, after the read-a-thon, captains and team members will have time to post last minute updates.

Textbooks? Do we count textbooks for the overall challenge? Were these textbooks considered when setting book goals?Ewww. I don't miss reading textbooks.
I don't know about this particular challenge, but I usually count textbooks for challenges, and towards my reading goals for the year. Most of them are longer than the 160 page limit...and if I have to suffer through reading it, I feel it should count towards my years reading goal. Know what I mean?

The Halloween Read-a-Thon is Over.
Time to write down your numbers and take some rest. You deserve it! Hope you had some fun
Don't forget to update your final results till Monday 8 AM (BST)
