Hey guys, I just noticed this thread, but if you don't mind I would totally love to jump in. I'm in part four. I really like this book, but lately haven't been able to get myself to it. It's Rae Carson's fault, I had to finish The crown of Embers and the Bitter Kingdom.

I really love how this book is set up and it's super unique since its narrated by death and all. I love Liesel, and I really identify with her despite being like 6 years her senior. I would probably be a book thief too if I were in her position.

I'm in part six. I love the narration even though at times it feels gloomy. Sometimes I'll be reading but it doesn't feel like I'm reading. Another thing is this book makes me sleepy but in a good way. So far nothing too bad has happened but I feel that coming to a close very soon.

Mid part six: (view spoiler)[ Is it wrong that I want Liesel to either stay best friends or eventually end up with Max since we know Rudy dies? I know he's older than her a lot, but eventually that won't matter. Plus they have like the best secret friendship. (hide spoiler)]

Also,It was nice of him to write Liesel a book for her birthday.He did a good job.I also liked the illustrations in the book of Max creations!
