Alright, I'm about 75 pages into the book, and I have to say I really love the writing style. It just feels so poetic and beautiful. (view spoiler)[I really like when she got the first book and how it said that book was linked to her memory of her brother. The emotions are so nicely written and there's a lot of it in the beginning of the book with her brother dying and her mother leaving her. Overall, I'm really liking it so far :) an (hide spoiler)]

Awesome Courtney. I know I said Tuesday above, but it probably wont be till Wednesday. I saw the movie already and loved every minute. And cried. So I'm excited to experience the book.

I bought this a while ago, and have been excited to read it. However, I don't know how much I will be able to read the days I work.

I'm sure ill be the same way. Although I don't watch that much movies. I got City of Bones for the holidays, and still haven't watched it :/

haha, I love movies and books. But it's awesome that you don't watch that many. Sometimes the TV distracts me from reading. Ack! hehe

So I am only 2 chapters in but this book is all over the place and I am really confused.

Really? I flipped through it briefly and saw it had a lot of pictures. Which I found odd.

I'm on page 49 and haven't seen any pictures yet. Its getting better though :)

I'm not very far either. The beginning was really odd. But I liked how it was written though. Very different.

The Book Thief is excellent so far. Excellent! I am about 150 pages in. Are you still enjoying it?

I love her Papa. Who's your favorite character so far?

I havent read much more since then, hopefully I can read more today. I would have to agree with you on Papa he seems so nice. Her "Mama" is really mean though< and it kind of makes me really not wanna read itbut im going to try to look over her attitude.

Dont worry it keep getting better. I think it helps that I've seen the movie first. This book is laid out very odd. I like it -- but it can be hard to follow.

It really is laid out wierd. I might see the movie just to keep me interested in it lol. I thought they had it coming. I was shocked that she did it though. She doesnt seem like the type of person to beat people up.

Ehh. I dont see myself likeing Mama, but we will see. No I have not met Max yet. How far are you into the book?

He doesn't show up for till father in a bit. I have about 100 pages left I am about 70 some %
Papa is great though, right?
