((Hey Meow, wanna do another RP with one of my nicer charries? And you can use this charrie, or a different one.))

Robin walked out of her classroom, not sure what she wanted to do next. Maybe she'd go find some friends. Or maybe go read.
Robin dropped her quill, and sighed, leaning down to grab it.
"Thanks, Alec." She said, holding her hand out for it.
"Not sure actually. I didn't have anything planned." Robin shrugged.
((It's okay!))
Nicolas Morth had a family name to uphold. He was ferocious, cunning, intelligent, charming and most of all selfish. He was all that. He kept repeating the same thought over and over again, trying to find a way to convince himself that there was something he could gain from helping out Ruby.
Still in his perfectly straightened uniform, Nicolas paced along the long corridors of the Dungeons. It was so unlike him to show expressions of worry, yet trying to calm himself down was proving futile. He knew Ruby was okay since slipping the antidote into her drink during dinner in the Great Hall a few weeks ago was assigned to him.
He had been reading her file in the Hospital Wing, making sure that everything would turn out to be exactly as he had planned. And everything did. So now the bigger question remained; why did he help Hayden cure Ruby?
He saw the dim lighting of a room ahead and realized that someone was there. Taking a closer look he realized that Dimitri Hayden was also lost in thought.
"Do you intend continuing the postponing of your sleeping hours even after our little adventure, Mr. Hayden?" he asked, sliding into the room with a mask of confidence and peace placed over his face.
They had spend quite a few nights together making the antidote and Nicolas, surprisingly, didn't find Hayden's company as repulsive as he thought it would be or was Hayden completely useless as of course Nicolas thought.
He had so many things to provide his attention too. His store in Knockturn Alley was blooming in business, so many things to work on. Yet here he was again, meddling with insignificant existences. What was going on?
((Grace, remind me, it was Nicolas who saved Dimitri when he feel that night right?))

At the mentioning, or rather the intentional hint, of Ruby's Father Nicolas smirk vanished in a flash. However he did remain calm and gave Hayden a silent compliment by not replying.
"I am surprised you have not yet visited her, were you two not always enjoying each other's company?" said Nicolas, while walking and examining the drafty dark room, amazed that he hadn't visited it more often.
Seeing that Hayden refused to reply to his comment he decided to get to the point.
"I saw her walking out of her Charms Lesson yesterday. She seems quite healthy, all visual points of the poisoning have been removed. I'd dare say that I..." he paused there for a moment, "we were successful."
At that point Nicolas felt in power again. His inner quarrels did not matter anymore, not as long as he saw Hayden in this kind of psychological state. It excited him. Why was Mr. Hayden avoiding Ms. Thornwall?

Nicolas simply smiled and turned his body to face Hayden. "Now..." he started, leaving a purposed long pause as if taunting Mr. Hayden was something he could do all night,
"Now we do... nothing, for I am wildly guessing that our little partnership will not remain a secret forever."
At that point Nicolas looked at Hayden's intensity rising up and knew his comment didn't leave him unmarked. It was true that Nicolas was suspecting that Hayden could not simply keep a secret that big from someone.
And if that someone was someone that Hayden trusted then it was someone that cared for Ruby Thornwall. Which only meant one thing...
"Ms. Thornwall is a very bright girl, one that has had the privilege to study under my full, well, supervision. How long before she reaches out to you Mr. Hayden? Desperately wanting some explanation?"
He paused his walking and gazed at the old greenish walls. "Or maybe she finds me first?"

Nicolas listened very carefully and inhaled every word. He was utterly satisfied with the way that Hayden suddenly started blurting out his idle little threats.
Nicolas took two steps towards Hayden and stopped relatively closer than his usual distance. He pierced Hayden with a cold look and smiled.
"Win her back?" he stated, his voiced smoother than ever, with the echo of the room hissing back his words.
"I have not lost anything I did not wish to lose, Mr. Hayden. Maybe it is time for you to consider whether you can keep me away without my consent."
With that he stepped back and headed towards the door. But at the last moment he paused and turned his head half-way, his wide smile now resembling frighteningly the one of a demon.
"Perhaps it is you who seeks to win Ms. Thornwall. "

((Explosion!!! :D))
Nicolas let the enraged Mr. Hayden leave the room feeling kind of disappointed. It was a surprise that the words of Mr. Hayden struck him like lightning and he, for once, had no reply.
Not that he had suddenly transformed into a person that cares of what the others think of him, no; usually because what everybody else thought was true and maybe worse.
However, this time Nicolas Morth was not playing a game and for the first time in his life he discovered that he actually cared for Ruby, in his own weird and ill way, one that could never be shown or understood.
He let out a snobby sigh and followed Mr. Hayden's shadow back into the Dormitory with one thought ringing in his ears.
For the first time, Nicolas Morth had not an ulterior motive or plan formed. He was utterly and profoundly empty.
