Thank you so much to all those readers who have so far reviewed my novel, thus qualifying me for a BookBub promotion! The feedback here and on Amazon has been phenomenal, exciting, and rewarding to read after spending so many years writing. All digital editions of Darshan will be available for $0.99 through 12/31/13: http://www.bookbub.com/ebook-deals/da...
You can read excerpts either on GR or at www.amritchima.com, but if you request directly, I am happy to send you a sample chapter to determine if this is a book that would interest you.
Happy holidays!

Very proud to share that my novel Darshan has just been deemed a quality work of literary fiction by IndieReader!"Darshan is a multigenerational family epic in every sense of the term: nuanced, thoughtful, well-written, and deftly mixing history with fiction."

After one year of research and four years of rewrites, I am nearly ready to publish my first novel called Darshan, the story of a family's one-hundred-year journey across continents on a heartbreaking quest for redemption and forgiveness. Set in India, Fiji, and San Francisco, the family must learn to release the guilt and burdens of a long-ago crime that haunts them through generations.
I’ve launched a Goodreads giveaway, if you would like to enter to win a free copy. The giveaway ends October 16. (https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...) You can also find excerpts at www.amritchima.com to better gauge your interest.
I’ve also co-started a Facebook group for literary writers in the San Francisco area. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/SFLit...) The group's primary focus is to share the challenges, wonders, frustrations, and successes of constructing works of literary fiction. We do not plan to hold workshops, although we are open to discussing story ideas. In a city where writers of all genres are meeting to critique work, to examine the changing landscape of the publishing industry, to exchange tips on marketing and promotion—all fabulous topics—we couldn’t find a group that met simply to talk about the painful yet awesome process of writing literature.
Really looking forward to getting your feedback!
Thanks!
