Leslie I have added you to both of these.

How about The Girl You Left Behind then? And I can do March, although April would give me a bit more time to some of the other books I have here crying out to be read finished!! However if March is better for other people, that's fine.

Would anyone like to read I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak with me?

Done Victoria

Can I join sharp objects, the shining, Anna Karenina, and Les Miserables as well? And Nadia, I'll read I Am The Messenger with you!

A buddy read in this group consists of 2 or more people. It's a buddy read with numerous people signing up.

Also would be very interested in reading for August to December. Probably can't do all months, but would love to do a few.

I've added you Robyn to the list of participants for this buddy read.
Is/are there any books you would like to read during the months of August to December? Please feel free to suggest more than one.

I might be up for a buddy read in the second half of the year, but it's a bit too early now for me to know what I might be wanting to read at that point! I'll have a better idea come June or July!
I am reading Frankenstein in August, Don Quixote in September, The Idiot in October, and The Mill on the Floss in November, if anyone wants to join in for any of those.

Some of the books I'm planning to read from August to December are:
August: The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot
September: All That I Am by Anna Funder
October: The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan
November: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
December: Life After Life by Kate Atkinson

This will be my first time with Dostoyevsky other than one failed attempt at Crime and Punishment when I was in junior high school. Hopefully being older makes Dostoyevsky easier this time around.

Poor Don Quixote has been staring at me from my TBR pile for years. I am excited to finally read it.
