John Gregory Wynn | 4 comments His Newsletter came out today and mentioned Broken Eye will be out in August 2014! 900 pages!(size of A Memory of Light for reference) 2 years between books is not bad!

Donna | 5 comments I received an email today with the first two chapters of Broken Eye!!! How excellent. I love it when authors do fabulous things like this. (eg Michael J Sullivan does something similar on Amazon.)

John Gregory Wynn | 4 comments Yeah was awesome. I actually drove to a Barnes and Noble when I heard that there was going to be a preview of Broken Eye in the Black Prism Trade Paperback

John Gregory Wynn | 4 comments Just finishing up The Night Angel Trilogy from Graphic Audio. I love Graphic Audio! Listen to them on my commute to work. Had been a few years since I read it.

Brent says that Broken Eye is twice as long as Way of Shadows! August cant get here soon enough!

Obaid Haroon | 4 comments Broken Eye is gonna be amazing. Can NOT wait

Donna | 5 comments Twice as long!! Yikes. And a 4th book to follow after that. Hope they won't be too far apart.

Richard | 12 comments But I'm re reading night angel trilogy first. Hi Durzo.

Donna | 5 comments I prefer Lightbringer to Night Angel.
I like a flawed hero but I find Gavin/Dazen is a better character than Durzo, imho.

Obaid Haroon | 4 comments I agree. Night Angel was amazing but it was dark as well. Lightbringer is a much more light hearted read and the quality does not suffer at all.

Donna | 5 comments "Light" hearted. You made a funny. :)

Both are great in their own ways.

In comparrions it's like Brandon Sanderson's work. His characters in Way of Kings are much more serious than those in Mistborn.

message 13: by Matt (new) - rated it 5 stars

Matt | 3 comments I loved Night Angel....but this Lightbringer series just has sucked me in...I'm enjoying more than Night Angel!

message 16: by Richard (new)

Richard | 12 comments Omg 8!!!! I've read once and audio book once. Audio is good and handy. Driving, walking, but nothing like turning a page.
I might read again lol. But I must read the next series again. Only once around for me and Kip!!!

Abnel | 6 comments In a Night Angel versus Lightbringer debate, I have to separate them into things. If I was going to choose for books to keep being written, Night Angel. I just found it so cool and interesting. If I had to choose one to visit and/or be a part of, Lightbringer. The book's universe is far more relatable than that of Night Angel. Unlike in NAT, in Lightbringer anyone can be a big somebody because anyone can be a drafter. We even have the quiz available to know what color drafter you would be. Basically, interest NAT, relatable, Lightbringer.
