There is no 1977 McKay edition. There's the 1977 Crown edition or the 1988 McKay edition, which has that ISBN. Which one did you mean? Or is there a 1977 McKay edition as well not listed?

I honestly am a bit fuzzy on the rules at this point. If the artwork hasn't changed, then it's not an alt. cover edition. I don't think we usually add another edition for simple reprints, but I could be wrong. It *seems* like the thing to do is to put the original, oldest year on edition with that ISBN, especially if that's the edition you have the correct cover for. But I need a ruling from a more experienced librarian, sorry!

Easy things are done quickly. Murky things are done not at all until someone like Rivka weighs in. Plus once a thread gets to be more than a couple messages long, librarians skim or skip the thread altogether, assuming things are fixed. I didn't do anything more because I'm not sure what the rules are in this instance. So I'm stuck. Sorry :( You could try re-posting the request, or you could try messaging a mod directly.
