Fallen and Once Upon A Time
Hmm. Well they could be on a hunt or something, I guess. That seems like it might be the best way to start it....
Sorry I didn't get the notification, I'm busy cooking super. So if you could I will get back to you as soon as possible.
It's fine. I just now got done with school and rehearsal for band. So I can start now.----
Wyatt sighed softly. She ran a hand through her hair and looked over at Naomi who was driving. They were heading off to a new city, chasing down another demon or some kind of creature. She bit her lip.
Naomi came to a stop sign then turned into city. "Do you have aby idea what we are hunting?" Asking softly turning to her little sister.
"Not really. I'll figure it out though, as soon as we have a better internet connection." Wyatt replied with a shrug. She bit her lip, thinking.
Nodding her head. This wasn't sure he first blind investigation. Though she thought there would be something. "The only lead we have is a guy who mysteriously dies"
"Yeah. I know.." Wyatt nodded. She sighed quietly. "Give me two hours once I have wifi, and I can almost promise that I'll have something useful."
Things weren't the best between them. She tried to make things better. No matter what it seemed like it wouldn't be good enough for her. Naomi thought it would be better to let the silence stay.
Wyatt sighed softly. She reached into the backseat, grabbing her book. Since they were probably done talking until they got to wherever they were going, she opened it and started to read silently. She had a hard time focusing though, having to go back and reread parts.
Namoi wished that things were good between them. She didn't even remember what she did wrong to her? The only thing she did was go off to college and got a degree.
Wyatt sighed and closed the book..She was kinda upset at her sister for leaving her behind with their father then showing up again like nothing happened. Wyatt ran a hand through her hair.
"Wyatt you know I didn't know that mom was going to die on a that trip and I didn't know that dad was going to spiral out of control" Biting the inside of her cheek.
Wyatt shrugged. "Yeah. Whatever.." She muttered, not really wanting to talk about it. She shifted so she could watch out the window. A part of her knew that it wasn't Naomi's fault for that happened, but part of her still blamed her.
"I ask dad if you wanted to come live with me you know? He told me that you guys didn't need me and never come back." Naomi felt her heart break. "I wasn't trying to leave you guys that was never the plan. I was suppose to come back. I have no clue what I can do to get through to you"
Wyatt frowned, hearing the first thing she said. She didn't know that had happened. "You shouldn't have listened to what he said, you know just like I do that He says things that he didn't mean..." She whispered. "You should've come back sooner..."
"Wyatt there's other things that I won't repeat. There's many things you don't know. Those don't matter its in the past. I'm here now me and you hunting like we wanted to do for so long." Naomi looked at the road and pulled into the a hotel.
Part of Naomi wanted to give up right now. Her sister didn't care about her anymore. Everything was wrong and it hurt her so much.
Wyatt sighed. She cared about her sister, a lot but didn't want to get close to her. She didn't want to get used to her being around because she was afraid Naomi would leave again..
"In the morning we have an interview with the victims family. So tonight we will find out everything we can about them and then go from there." Telling her sister trying her best to push away the hurt.
Wyatt nodded. "Okay." She ran a hand through her hair. She turned to put her book back in her backpack in the backseat. She sighed quietly n
Naomi made her way to their hotel room and sat down on bed. Why didn't her sister like her anymore?
Wyatt grabbed her backpack and followed Naomi. She sat on the other bed and took out her laptop, not saying anything.
Naomi took out her laptop and iPad ready to start her research part of it. "Do you want to work together?" She asked.
"Sure." Wyatt shrugged. When she was hunting With their father, she typically did all the research but figured that Naomi would get frustrated if she said no.
"Its fine that's your area. I'm going to pick us some food do you want anything particular?" Naomi asked softly.
Naomi smiled and left the room walking to her car. She sat down and turned it on letting the tears fall down her face. She drove off to the nearest fast food joint. Trying to gather thoughts.
She went through the drive through getting their food. Glancing at the her phone wondering if she should call some of her hunter friends. Naomi decided she would wait because Wyatt might get mad. Pulling in the hotel she stopped crying awhile back, but she still felt like she would burst into tears again at any moment.
Wyatt kept working, saving links to different articles and taking some notes on a notebook that was beside her. Research was a good distraction, it gave her something to focus on that wouldn't upset her.
Taking a deep breath thankful you couldn't tell that she'd been crying. Opening the door and setting the food down. "I got you a sandwich and a fry" Sitting down on her bed Naomi knew she wasn't welcome here. She didn't want to leave and she was trying so hard to make things up with Wyatt.
"Thanks." Wyatt said softly. She glanced over at Naomi. "Catch." She said before tossing her notebook to her so she could look over the notes Wyatt had taken.
Catching the notebook. There wasn't that much on here. "So this guy's family is rich and powerful. It looked like he was going to clear out a forest." Skimming the rest of it. "Did you get information about the Forest? "
"Yeah well I would like to talk to you about this. Notes are good to build on, but I want to discuss this" Naomi said looking at her.
"My guess is we are either dealing with Native American Indian spirits, a witch, or a just revengeful spirit." Pausing some. "We can't really figure anything out until there is another victim. So we need to look at the people who is close to him family and friends. People who worked for that company. Unless if there is more about him that could lead to connections to some random person in this city." Naomi had the tendency to analyze everything. "We may need help. Good thing I have two very good hunters on speed dial."
Wyatt nodded, silent as she listened to Naomi. When she mentioned the other two hunters, she muttered something under her breath. What? Did Naomi think that they couldn't just handle it together without any other hunters, Wyatt thought.
Naomi waited for her to say something to counter her. Nothing came out of her. Naomi sighed. "Wyatt you need to stop this act. I'm doing everything I can to get you to talk to me like we use to. For some reason it isn't good enough for you. Its not my fault okay you have to believe when I say this" Naomi was pleading with her.
"I'm not upset with you. That's not the issue. I'm Jealous and afraid..." She said in a whisper, looking down. Wyatt bit her lip nervously. She sighed and shook her head.
"Why are you jealous and afraid? If you're afraid of me leaving that's not going to happen. I wouldn't leave you. I never did leave you" Naomi sighed and glanced down.
