Do you think Harry is changed by any of these events? How so or why not?

I think at this point Harry feels a certain degree of disgust towards the police force. He certainly thinks that many of the people he works with and for are not honest or trustworthy.

I think the irony of Pounds' death will change him somewhat. He'll still take risks but will be more cautious about some of his methods. He'll always be a loner.

[Tracey]

I'll be interested to see how he is in the next one.

I hope Harry finally gets some peace, especially about his mother's death.

As to the police force, I can't imagine who will become his partner, loner that he is. It's a two-way street: how can the police hierarchy trust Harry, and how will he trust anyone?

I wonder who the next commander will be now that Pounds is gone. Will it be someone who he will respect, or another guy like Pounds?

I hope that Harry does change for the better and that he keeps seeing the psychiatrist. She does seem like someone he can trust.

I really dislike Jerry and hope the new commander is someone that Harry can respect.

To be honest, something has got to change. The atmosphere of distrust and corruption is beginning to wear me down.

Lauren, the LAPD in real life have a very...troubled reputation and history. This series very much models the ills of that time period. It took them a bit to turn the department around.

Harry finds some measure of peace in solving his mother's murder. It's not all that visible, there's no triumphant moment about it . . . but it settles some things for him.
