Patty SPOILER ALERT!
This took me a bit to get into but then I was hooked. I am curious what others thought and my main question is, what does the title mean? I know there were lots of references to wolves in the book but I still don't understand why he named their portrait Tell the Wolves I'm Home.

message 2: by Anita (new) - added it

Anita I did read this fabulous book and my book club did discuss the name and I have to admit I forget what they came up with! I vaguely remember that the last few pages of the book explained it.

Kwood Love it!!!

Ryan Thomas I did - honestly I liked it but it's not my favorite novel about the theme. The book Fairyland is ten times the story and is written by the daughter of a poet who grew up with her bisexual father during the 80's AIDS crisis in San Francisco. :P

Preet YES -- loved it. Especially how the author developed the relationship between the protagonist and her uncle. Those scene were saturated with a feeling akin to nostalgia.
