@Irene - yah i think that was part of what made tv-show Joe more likeable and compassionate - that whole storyline was nonexistent in the book. the second book is partially about them but it moves on to another storyline (i don't want to spoil it if you have not read it) but in the books the way you ended and hidden bodies picks up and the way the tv show for season 1 ended is so different i am wondering if they are going to deviate entirely for season 2 of the tv show.
