Umm I haven't read it since it first came out like a year ago so no, I can't say I do...
Crazy Apple {Happy Halloween!!} wrote: "Any good books with sirens or mermaids, guys?"Of Poseidon by anna banks is epic!!!
Sarah wrote: "Renée wrote: "Sarah wrote: "yeah I reckon the first book was definitely the best for me. I agree with you about the ending. It just seemed kind of added in? Like it wasn't originally planned?"YES..."
the sentence that reveals what/who she is.
I'M READING INSURGENT NOW!!! COZ DIVERGENT SERIES AND ALLEGIANT IN 4 DAYS!!! ARRGGGHHH!!! YAYAYYAYAYAYAY!!!
Help! I have a question: Does anyone know if Allegiant will be released in paperback in UK? I really want it in paperback since I have the other two in that format, but most stores only have it for pre-order in hardback and the publisher only has it in hardback too. But the book depository has it in paperback, so...?
They usually don't put it into paper back until later. I'm just going to wait cause i also have the first book in paper back

In UK books are actually often published in paperback firs..."Ahhh lucky. I actually saw Allegiant on a small bookstore shelf today. I wanted it so badly but it was hard cover and I didn't have the money
Renee: I really liked Fallen but I do agree that the ending was less than satisfactory. I was also a huge Cam fan and was very disappointed that she left his character so open ended.(view spoiler)
I totally agree with you guys!! It just seemed like all the hype was for nothing, like I hardly even remembered what happened :/ and yeah the ending was extremely cheesy!!
Totally agreed Renee. Except the choosing Lucifer part. I don't think I would have liked that. But I did like bill.(view spoiler)
ha ha ha, love that! XDI did like Bill! :D don't you think that the reason Bill was so nice to her in Passion was because he used to be in lvoe with her and he knew it?
i don't actually. I think it was just because he liked manipulating her feelings and keeping her away from Daniel
YES!!!!BLOODLINES!!!!! :D
and this series.
I'm gunna keep recommending it everywhere!
or if you are overseas, these are the versions you will most likely see:
OMG THE NEW COVER I ONLY JUST REALISED OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!I must spread the word and change my VEC groups masthead now! :D
gotta go on my photoshop now. :D
Anything new you guys recommend? I've read almost everything you guys mentioned earlier. I've been thinking about the Watersong series, but the reviews make it seem really sappy, and I can't stand a flimsy protagonist. It'd recommend the Obsidian series by Jennifer L'Armennout. I was skeptical about the whole alien thing too, but it's really good and a refreshment from the whole angel mania. If you're into guys like Patch or Phoenix, you'll love the series, and the protagonist is a really cool, strong willed girl- it's just an awsome book.
You guys also mentioned the trylle series, I just read that recently- omg, such a cute series, the last book was epic and the relationships are pretty interesting and much more realistic, I think. Not your standard, petty love triangle.
So I read the Raven Cycle - and it's pretty cool! It's nice to see a book focused on a group of characters, rather than just tunnel vision of some type of romance. And the characters are very well developed and realistic, can't wait for the 3rd book!
BRENDA!!!!! *hugs* yes, as said above, if I'm going to recommend fantasy, I'm going to recommend the Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. :DFairy-tales... uhh have you read The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa?
as for fantasy fairy tales...sorry I got nothing! Umm maybe anthologies of collections? The original 'Wild Swans' by Hans Christian Anderson and any of his works are good fairy tale/pagan/magic stories. :)
