My brother, Dominic, recommended the book to me and I am really glad he did. I was pulled in from the beginning! First off I loved the story; it was really creative and well written. Sometimes you read a book and the idea is great but you don’t like the characters or it’s just poorly written. But Awoken was a great idea, the writing was really good and the characters were so alive it felt like you knew them.
I really liked Roya, she was strong and independent but also human, she had her troubles and you could always relate to her. I am really looking forward to reading the next two books, seeing all the characters again and reading more from the author.
Awoken was a great book and I would definitely recommend it!

Okay, so I thought in the night I wanted to do a fan thing for Awoken, so I thought I would try to make a fan cover, I made one today, I took a girl underwater who looked like Roya to me, and I went to a website that had these cool words and stuff, so I uploaded the photo and made a fan cover. Here it is:

I love both of the covers. They express the books so well. And I love the view from the water on the Awoken cover. Dark profiles always creep me out. Nice work on Stunned. Love these so much! I love this book and recommend it to everybody! I love Roya! I love how she isn't perfect at everything, (like all of us) but she's still very very strong!! She's one of my favorite heroines! JOSEPH!!!! I love him! He's awesome and funny and one of my favorite characters! (view spoiler)[And Roya's is very lucky to have him as a brother! (hide spoiler)] He's also a very likeable character! AIDEN!! He's awesome! I agree with him about what's life without music (and he's so lucky to have a Fall Out Boy T-shirt!) He's so sweet! I love George, he's sweet and understanding, and he's so nice to everyone! And then I just want to say that the writing and the idea is awesome! Sarah Noffke did a great job! (And the bad guy... Ewwww! He's so... Evil)

Thanks Mignon. Love this review. And so thrilled that you enjoyed. I agree about Joseph and Roya. Thanks for all the thoughtful insights into characters. They are what makes a story so I'm glad you related to them. And it sounds like we need to hunt you down a Fall Out Boy T-shirt. :)

That's wonderful to hear. Thank you! I love Fall Out Boy. Just the perfect amount of angst. Writing these books actually helped me to discover all sort of great artists and their music. Writing and music go hand and hand. :)
